I know I'm probably writing this in the wrong place (a fan forum) but I suppose I secretly want someone to convince me I'm wrong (or at least to have an objective discussion about it).
Saw the switch on the weekend at RTX Sydney, and I've got to say, I was pretty shocked at the size. I'm not traditionally a Nintendo kid – I loved the s**t out of my DS though. I thought the switch might get me back into Nintendo, but after seeing that the handheld is a bit smaller than a 3DS XL, I am turned off. The idea that games are going to be made that could comfortably work on both a 6 inch tablet and a 65" TV screen seems hard to believe. I feel like I'm going to spend all my time squinting at that tiny thing, wishing I was playing it on my TV. If it had been closer to 9 inches, I would have been happy. And the idea of using a single tiny joycon to play 2 player Mariokart on that little thing sounds awful. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting old… X.x.
Anyway, what do you guys think? I mean, maybe I'm just not the target audience, I get that. I guess I'm just disappointed because I wanted to be more excited. I just don't feel like I can get behind it… Maybe if they bring out an XL edition.
