I know its a ridiculous notion but… via Splatoon 2 and ARMS esports could be the force to redeem the perception of motion controls.

I know this is unlikely, but its a weird thought that I found very amusing. We know gyro aiming does great in Splatoon's pro-scene, what if that scene not only explodes into a much bigger thing but ARMS does too and its pro-scene legitimately embrace as gyro-aimed punches as the right way to play?

Am I the only one who thinks that would be a hilarious reversal of the perception of motion controls?
