I really hope Nintendo does this correctly this time around.
For whatever reason, when N64 games are ported to the more recent consoles, they always map the N64 Z button to be the L trigger on the classic and pro controllers.
Games like the legend of Zelda and Super Mario 64 could be very awkward to play at points, depending on the action.
Conker's Bad Fur Day has moments of 3rd person shooting and having to shoot with L was weird. But not only that, aimming was with R, but then, the left and right joysticks were opposite of contemporary shooters as well. So you'd be aiming with R, shooting with L and then strafing with the left joystick and walking with the right. It just doesn't work.
Hope they think about that a bit more.
