At first glance, it's seems logical to simply assume nothing happens and suddenly the game switches to handheld mode. On a second thought, we don't know what exactly happens when plugging/unplugging the switch from the dock. It's seems simple at first, but there could also be some crazy complex engineering behind it that makes matters complicated.
How do you think power issues would affect the docked experience? Power cuts? Low tension?
The question arose from thinking what kind of protection the dock provides from unstable power input. Imagine if lights went out and inmediatly came back. Does the dock need to be turned on? Does it turn on automatically and instantly? Wouldn't situations like this possibly hurt the main Switch unit?
