Switch’s Mysterious Button For Nvidia Ansel?

The new square button seen in both the joy-cons and the pro controller has been rumoured as a share button. But I just remembered one of the latest feature Nvidia has announced for their latest line of GPUs. Nvidia Ansel!!

Free camera: Freeze time, and roll, zoom and reposition the camera. Go wherever you want within a preset radius during any mission or moment to create the perfect shot.

Post Process Filters: Tweak the look, feel and mood of your screenshot before capturing using the included filters, or manually adjust brightness, contrast and other options yourself.

360° Captures for Desktops, Google Cardboard and Virtual Reality: Capture 360° panoramic screenshots in mono or stereo. View these images in Google Cardboard, on your PC, or in a VR headset.

For Android and Cardboard users, we’ve released the NVIDIA VR Viewer, which is bundled with Ansel 360° screenshots that you can view today. Download the app to check it out and to view your own screenshots. Easily upload your pictures through Google to view on your Android phone.

For PC Virtual Reality users, the NVIDIA Ansel technology page walks you through the process of viewing Ansel VR screenshots in your Virtual Reality headset.

And the GPUs from 600 series support it, so what are the chances that it might end up of the Nintendo switch? Nvidia did say they are gonna support it with all sorts of software.
