Although I'm confident Nintendo will put out a major 1st party title at launch, I'm just not convinced that Mario Switch will be that title. Zelda makes way more sense.
Why would Nintendo use e3, Game Awards and Jimmy Fallon to promote a game that will come out after a Super Mario title? Shouldn't they be advertising for Mario first if it's arriving first?
The only reason for this I can think of is because they've already revealed it, so they feel obligated to keep fans interested in it with more info and press time.
I get that we could see both Mario and Zelda at launch, but I'm not confident that we will see that happen either.
